Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to Asks purchased on Better By Asking using Apple Pay, Google Pay or Cash App Pay. Charges appear on your statement as BETTERBYASKING.

1. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment processor. Depending on that method — Apple Pay, Google Pay or Cash App Pay — and your financial institution, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days.

2. Cases we review

We review requests involving unauthorised transactions, duplicate charges, technical errors during checkout, or Asks that were not delivered after a completed transaction. Contact us within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date, with enough detail to identify the purchase — the email on your account, the approximate date, the plan name, and the amount.

3. Not eligible for refund

  • There is no signup grant. Any Asks we place in an account to make good on a failure are without cash value and are not refundable.
  • Accounts terminated for breaching our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds.

4. Unused Asks

If you bought a pack and have not spent any of it, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with your order details.

5. Abuse, fraud, and chargebacks

We may decline refund requests that appear abusive, fraudulent, inaccurate, or connected to a breach of our Terms of Service. If a payment dispute or chargeback is filed with your bank or payment provider, we may suspend access to the disputed Asks and your account while the matter is investigated.

6. When the result falls short

If you are not satisfied with a particular result, tell us — we look at these case by case rather than turning them away automatically. Send the transaction date, the feature you used, and what fell short of what you expected.

Where the shortfall came from a problem on our side, or the output clearly did not meet a reasonable standard, we will refund the amount in question or restore the Asks spent. AI output does vary between runs and is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete, so we cannot promise a refund on that basis alone — but we will explain our reasoning either way.

7. Partially used Asks

If some of a purchase has already been spent, we may issue a prorated refund for the remaining unused balance, at our discretion, less any payment processing fees already incurred.
